    展览主旨：

    抽象艺术与具象艺术一样，是绘画艺术的一个表现形态与重要的方面。

    虽然中国的抽象艺术伴随着中国第一代油画家的诞生就曾经产生，但作为一种艺术思潮与文化现象的出现，则是在20世纪末开始，尤其在上海，出现了一批从事抽象艺术创作的艺术家，他们以独立的姿态，不随流进行着另一种实验——当代新抽象的探索。。。。。。

    在经过了20年探索与发展，可以讲今天的中国抽象艺术已经逐步形成自己的文化艺术特色。

    尤其是以上海为代表的中国当代新抽象艺术的不断成熟与发展，已经成为中国艺术史中重要组成部分。

    本次展览就是以活跃在中国抽象艺术领域的艺术家为对象，通过展示他们的作品以展现中国抽象艺术的主要方向与面貌，以及他们的艺术追求与探索。。。。。。

    Primary intention of this exhibition:

    The abstract art is an expression form and important aspect of drawing art.,the same as the embodiment art. Although China's abstract art had emerged following the Chinese first generation of oil painters, as a matter of fact, as one kind of artistic ideological trend and the cultural phenomenon, it started in the end of 20th century. Especially in Shanghai, a group of t artists engaging in the creation of abstract art appeared. They conducted a test-- exploration of Contemporary New Abstract, independently and not drifting with the current. . . . . .

    After 20 years’ exploration and development, we might speak today's Chinese abstract art had already formed a culture or artistic feature of our own. Particularly Shanghai , as the representative of Chinese Contemporary New Abstract ,with the steady development and maturity, already became the important component of Chinese art history.

    This exhibition is just to take the artists performing in the Chinese abstract art domain as an object, through demonstrating their works to unfold the main direction and the appearance of Chinese abstract art , as well as their artistic pursue and exploration. . . . . .
