继2007年6月在广东美术馆举办盛大颁奖典礼,及上海美术馆巡展之后，四位“2008马爹利非凡艺术人物”将携他们的艺术杰作来到今日美术馆，于2008年7月26日至8月29日在三号馆隆重展出。

    这四位获奖艺术家是：用童话绘就现实的当代油画家刘野、融会现代与传统的超现实主义摄影家洪磊、颠覆平面的三维装置艺术家夏小万，以及捕捉时代脉动的摄影家马里奥·索兰提。

    马爹利一直推崇“独具慧眼，领悟非凡”的品鉴艺术，自2004年起倾力呈现的年度“马爹利非凡艺术人物”大奖便是对那些在艺术世界里充满灵感与才华的艺术家们的欣赏与褒奖。相信四位艺术家视角独特、饱含惊人创造力的非凡之作将为每位熟谙品鉴之道的人士奉上一场艺术盛宴。

    After the grand award ceremony and the exhibition at the Shanghai Art Museum in June, the four “2008 Martell Artists of the Year” will come to Beijing Today Art Museum to share their extraordinary artworks with art fans in Beijing from July 26th to August 29th, 2008.

    The four “2008 Martell Artists of the Year” include: Liu Ye, an oil painter depicting reality in the form of fairy tales; Hong Lei, a surrealist photographer merging tradition and modernity; Xia Xiaowan, a 3D installation artist subverting the surface; Mario Sorrenti, a photographer of his time.

    In the world of Cognac, Martell pursues creativity, innovation and independence of mind --- the very essence of the art world. These mutual commitments inspired the creation of “Martell Artists of the Year Award” in 2004 and the annual awards continue to recognize and celebrate talented artists.
