李凝，“凌云焰身体影像实验室“的创建人、雕塑家、舞者。生于1972年，济南人，自幼修习舞蹈及中国武术等多种兴趣所在。
1993年考入山东艺术学院美术（教育）系，主修雕塑，同时利用假期常赴北京跟随现代舞蹈家金星学习肢体方面的语言及能力。

1994年雕塑作品《始祖》入选当年学院的年度作品展。 1995年成立“哑谜现代舞团”，成员以学习美术和文学的大学生为主，进行早期的多媒体艺术探索、实践，但主要方向还仅限于剧场表演艺术。 1995年7-9月还参与设计了徐州市云龙湖联谊会风景区的大型雕塑群《三国》的设计与施工，带领民工与学生完成了学院雕塑系交给的任务。1996年与济南市外教联谊会组织了一系列的演出，包括舞蹈与戏剧。1997年美院毕业后，出于现代舞蹈的喜爱，在金星的鼓励之下，加入北京现代舞团。 1999年作品《Don’t Cry》获得国家级金奖。 2000年成立凌云当代舞团&剧场 ，致力于中国当代最前沿的舞蹈探索 开始进行与多种媒介，如：身体、声音、视像、泥土……与多个领域，如：文学、哲学、艺术……相融合的 创作时期——国外对此种界于视觉艺术与表演艺术之间的形态称之为“亚文化状态”，与英、德等国家涌现出的几个相似团体（DV8、天花与热狗）相比，“凌云焰”身体话语特征及美术元素的运用更为突出。 8月策划山东当地第一次“身体语言”作品展演（『体语诗集Ⅰ』）。 2001年成立“凌云焰身体影像实验室”。 4月参与策划当地第一届实验短片展 ——曼陀铃短片展。5月媒体剧《J城生活日志》获北京国际舞蹈节探索单元最佳作品奖。 12月独立策划“愈冷愈焰”当代艺术汇展。包含实验戏剧、舞蹈、行为、影像、音乐五大部分。 2002年创作VIDEO DANCE作品《梦·绳索·鸟蛋》。 5月参加第四届北京国际现代舞蹈节，获组委会特别金奖 。 6月策划济南兰桂坊·夏季独立影像展（当地第二届实验短片展）。 7月作品《器NO.1》参加北方独立影像展（北京“藏酷”酒吧）。 10月协助策划、参加《森林·水·空气》中国当代艺术展（济南）（行为、身体视像实验、影像三个部分）。 11月筹备赴香港艺术交流及新作品《器NO.2》，以及参加第二届中国独立映像节的作品。 11月下旬应邀为2002中国国际时装周张肇达作品专场创作大型表演及影象艺术。 2003年3月受香港艺术发展局的邀请在香港举办个人的“身体影像艺术作品展”，获得成功， 5—12月在济南开始创作《Untitled—3》这一独特的影象作品。 2004年《Untitled—3》应邀参加了比利时、荷兰、等国家的实验影展，获得好评，并且获得了香港“跳格”实验影展的银奖，及最佳后期制作奖。 5月与残疾人导演徐浩创作的剧情片《我爱你》在中央台播出，并且获得了 央视“2004我的故事DV大赛”的最佳作品奖和最佳后期制作奖，颁奖仪式将在8月底举行。 7月为山东省舞蹈家协会创作现代舞〈草原风云〉，参加在新加坡举办的“2004世界青少年舞蹈比赛”主要作品：《Don’Cry》、《非俊男美女》、《J城生活日志》、《梦·绳索·鸟蛋》、《器》(系列）、《北京是男人，上海是女人》、《日落》、《垂死的Kg·s》、《无概念绘画》、《小时侯觉得自己长大了，就什么都可以干了，可是真的长大了，却什么都不能干了……》（剧场实验） 《UNTITLED-3》.......Untitled-3 17 minutes, description:This work is the artist’s attempt to explore people’s various identities and their corresponding space and time.However, this genre of experiment of art is not cold and rational, on the contrary, the artist’s ways of expressing his ideas are dynamic and relaxed. The characters, even the scenes and the stage properties in his works, during the writer’s writing course, reveal some ego in his inner heart. And the philosophic concept “the world exists because of me” is reflected.The objective world is both void and solid, like the images in the mirror, with we being the mirror.The new opus of LingYunYan body video Lab pursues its previous style: the philosophy of body and the body of philosophy, descriptive symbolic, touching the time and space by actions.At the end of the performance, after the writer put out the cigarette, the butt found where beside the cigarette butt left by the character he created……it seems disordered but reasonable, reminds people of something, but no one can explain what it really is. Ware. No.2 (Performance work) scheme:time length: about 2 to 3 hours --- with the shadow on the floor projected by the winter sun through the window, until the sunlight disappears.Site: a spacious hall (indoors), or a big square (with a smooth ground)Opus description: The spacious ground in the hall is divided into 4 parts by two cross-axes ( x-axis: time axis, y-axis: space axis), with a few numbers marked on the axes. The part between –x and –y is the space with “no form, no substance”, the part between –x and y is “no form, but have substance”……thus, the 4 states of matter are formed: no form no substance, no form but have substance, have form but no substance, have form and substance. In the part between x and y, is a pile of cattle bones shadow and image (the projector projects from above ) will appear in the part between x and -y, water and air is in the part –x and y, sound and fire is in the part –x and –y. Through the performance a man, symbol of time walks along x-axis, while a woman symbol of space, walks along y-axis. They often pass but seldom meet. Once they meet, a new object will begin from that time, with its time and space proceeding. The man and the woman will pass and miss time and time again on different point along the two axes. Their performance will inject earthly warmth and sense of life into the cold and rational world of time and space ---in the transparent sunlight in winter.It will be performed by Lining and a female dancer from Jinxing Dance Troupe.Music: princess HuangLiangMaterial: red and blue self-adhesive paper, cattle bones, blank paper ( a great deal), alcohol light, projector. Personal art resume:n Lining, founder of “LingYunYan body video Lab”, sculptor, dancer. He was born in Jinan, china in 1972 and began to learn dance and Chinese GongFu when he was very young. n Entered the Art Education Department of Shandong College of Arts in 1993, majoring in sculpture. During the same period, he often went to Beijing to learn modern dance from the famous dancer Jinxing.n Founded “Riddle Modern Dance Troupe” in 1995, whose members were mainly college students majoring in arts or literature. They did a lot of things to explore and practice multimedia art, but their focus were the stage performance.n In 1997, took part in Beijing Modern Dance Troupe after graduation.n In 1999, his work Don’t Cry won a national gold medal.n In 2000, he set up LingYun Contemporary Dance Troupe & Theater to devote himself to explore the most frontal dance in today’s China. A new period in his creation has come that he began to integrate a variety of media such as human body, sound, image, mud……and several fields such as literature, philosophy and arts…… into his work. This state verges on vision art and performance art, and is rightfully called “sub-cultural state” in foreign countries. Compared with several similar Troupes from England and Germany ( DV8, smallpox and hot dog ), LingYunYan showed a special feature with its body language .In August, he planned the first local body language show ( collection of body poems ) n In 2001,he set up “LingYunYan Body Video Lab”.In April, he participated in the first experimental DV show in local area.In May, video play Diary of J City won the best work award of exploratory unit of Beijing International Modern Dance Festival.In December, he planned contemporary arts show “The colder, the brighter”, including five sections of experimental drama, dance, act, video and music.n In 2002, he created video dance dream ? rope ? bird egg .In May, he attended the fourth Beijing International Modern Dance Festival and won the committee gold medal.In June, he planned Jinan LanGuiFang ? summer Independent video show ( the second DV show in local area )In July, ware NO.1 attended North Independent video show ( loft ZangKu ,Beijing )In October, he assisted the designing of China Contemporary Arts Show ( Jinan ), including behavior, body image, video.In November, he prepared ware NO.2 and was invited to act as editor for 2002 China International Costume Week.n In March, 2003 he was invited by Hong Kong Art Development Bureau to hold a personal “body video art exhibition ” in Hong Kong and got a great success.In May, he began to create the unique video work Untitled—3 .n Main opuses:Don’t Cry, Neither handsome man nor pretty woman, Diary of J City, dream ? rope ? egg , ware ( a series), Beijing is a man, Shanghai is a woman, sun set, dying Kg ? s, Abstract drawing, We could do everything when we were young, but nothing when we grow up……( theater experiment ), Untitled—3 . |
