Graduated from China Academy of Fine Art in 1995, now he is living and working in Shenzhen and Beijin, China. His representative works are “Mu Mu”(photography,1997-2006), “Sucker”(photography,2003), “Forefinger” (documentary,1999), “The moments”(documentary,1999---), “Our Love”(documentary feature,2005). “Onward! Onward! Onward! ”(video installation,2006) etc. Jiang Zhi’s works concern contemporary social reality in China. His works have an insight into human civilization and China society, bringing the public the introspection in an amusing form. Jiang Zhi was the winner of Chinese Contemporary Art Award (2000)and took the prize at the Hong Kong Short Film Festival (2002).
