展览前言: 
　　冯大康着迷于建筑，腐朽，及破坏主题。他描绘了带着许多精致细节的人造结构，以半腐朽或毁坏的状态存在。事实上在中国的今天，许多美丽的建筑都以发展和进取之名快速地损毁消失。冯大康在他的画中记录了这一悲剧，这一记录留存在显示过去人类建筑的奇迹中，甚至在直面迫近他们的死亡中。 这位中国出生的画家不仅画风独特，并且画中充满了世界折射于其眼并跃然布上的色彩。冯大康讲述的故事有时可以是残酷地真实而直接。但是画家为这一系列命名为家园，在冰冷破碎的断壁残垣间却留得一丝脉脉温情与怀旧的怅惘。正如歌德所言之不朽实为逝者留给后人之回忆，这些逝去的建筑物中留下的回忆以及回忆中的旧日岁月，亦是借着这些森然伫立，惟余残躯的大楼，纪念碑般地长存于世，得以不朽。

　　Feng Dakang is an artist who is obsessed with architecture, decay and destruction. Feng Dakang paints man-made structures, with many details of their beauty, in a state of semi-decay or destruction. Indeed, in China nowadays, many beautiful buildings are being destroyed at a fast pace in the name of development and progress. Feng Dakang aims to record this tragedy in his paintings, in an effort to show the marvel of past human construction, even in the face of their impending demise. The Jiange, China born oil painter’s painting style is not only unique; it’s also full of colors that reflect the world through his eyes. Feng's story telling can be sometimes brutally direct and fresh.
