杨·巴克及他的版画艺术
作为一个版画家，创造性和完美主义是他的特点。他的绘画主体往往是具象的，但同时真实和虚幻又并成。他邀观众和他一起去诗化一个超现实主义的，优美的，迷人而又惊奇的意境。在近20年里，杨·巴克还尝试和发展了把金箔和银箔用一种特殊加热法融进版画中的独特制作技术，从而达到了一种使画面增加光泽和辉煌的特别效果。色彩被强化，且更富有质感，从而使主题也变得更加丰富了。他特有的艺术表现形式，使他成为一个在挪威国内外知名且很活跃的艺术家。
为表彰杨·巴克在艺术上所做出的努力和取得的卓越成就，挪威国王于2005 年9月13日特授予杨巴克金质荣誉奖章。
As a graphic artist Jan Baker is characterized as perfectionist and creative. His motives are described concrete figurative – veritable and illusion at the same time. The public is invited to the motif as poet in surrealistic, elegant, enigmatic and surprises. For the last twenty years, Jan Baker has experimented with silver and gold plating as part of the printing process. It’s a unique interpretation that adds a special type of warm and shines to the motif. That the colour is enhanced with richer quality goes without saying. But moreover, the motif itself becomes enriched. His unique art expression form has made him an acknowledged and active artist in and outside Norway.
The King of Norway has awarded him” The Royal Honour Medal in Gold” on 13th September 2005 for his artistic effort and contribution.
