“回眸巴黎——张值绘画展”将于2007年4月28日在北京798艺术节期间在创世之初画廊展出。
此次展出了著名青年画家张值先生去年旅居巴黎期间的二十余幅作品。他在巴黎创作的油画《舞蹈》、《拉丁区的街道》、《雕塑与博物馆》系列作品已经使他获得了感知的世界所带来的一种色彩与线条构筑的空间力量与美感，这些有生命力的线条和色彩对于感知的形 态的表现，使他的作品延伸到了另一种空间，在那里赋予了风景、建筑、雕塑新的意义。并让作品更具崇高感和永恒性。在当代绘画创作中，对于技艺与材料、观念、形式等等因素强调得很多，但对于情感的深入表现和永恒性这方面并没有得到很好的挖掘，而张值的巴黎作品恰恰表现了这种 “永恒的崇高性”。

Regard Paris----Exhibition of Zhang Zhi’s Oil Painting will be held on April 28th 2007 during the 798 art festival at the Beginning of Creation Gallery in Beijing.
More than twenty paintings on display in this exhibition were painted by the renowned young artist, Mr. Zhang Zhi when he sojourned in Paris last year. The series of paintings in Paris: Dance, Streets in Latin Blocks and Sculpture and Museum have already bestowed him with the ability and sense to percept the world with the color and lines to construct the space. The color and lines with great vitality reveal the perceptive form and extend his paintings to another space, in which landscape, construction and sculpture are gifted with fresh meanings. Thus his paintings possess a sense of nobility and eternity. In the creation of contemporary paintings more emphases are laid on skills, material, concept and form etc. But those paintings are deficient in the deep expression of emotion and eternity. The paintings in Paris of Zhang Zhi just evince such an immortal nobility.
