建筑与设计美术馆涵括了从十九世纪中至现代的收藏品。馆中集合了大量的工业目标、绘画设计和建筑模型及图画，这一装置揭示了建筑与设计作为相互依赖的艺术共同塑造了现代文化。本次展览强调了主要的画像与运动，特别强调了新艺术主义（Art Nouveau），维也纳脱离主义（the Vienna Secession），鲍豪斯建筑学派（the Bauhaus），战后意大利设计以及美国现代主义。得知受博物馆改革之托，收藏品都集中在多样性和不断演化的形式、材料和当代建筑与设计的方法上。藏品荟萃了文图锐（Venturi） 和 罗奇（Rauch）的“正面嵌板”，它来自于宾夕法尼亚(1973–79)，朗霍恩（Langhorne），最好新产品的陈列室，还有“微型智能汽车”：不破坏生态环境、可载两个乘客的“智能汽车”（1998）。

Architecture and Design Galleries

The Architecture and Design Galleries survey the collection from the mid-nineteenth century to the present. Bringing together mass-produced industrial objects, graphic design, and architectural models and drawings, the installation reveals architecture and design as interdependent arts that shape modern culture. The display emphasizes major figures and movements, with particular strengths in Art Nouveau, the Vienna Secession, the Bauhaus, postwar Italian design, and American modernism. Informed by the Museum’s commitment to innovation, the collection focuses on the diverse and ever-evolving forms, materials, and methods of contemporary architecture and design. Highlights include Venturi and Rauch’s Facade Panels from Best Products Showroom, Langhorne, Pennsylvania (1973–79) and Micro Compact Car Smart’s eco-friendly two-passenger SmartCar (1998).
