展览前言: 
　　顾德新被誉为“近20年最具超前意识的艺术家之一”。他用一种阻断作品文字解释的方式使作品保留完整呈现的机会，并且赋予它们一种个人的、原初的力量。作品所用的材料包括废塑料、鲜花水果甚至肉类，也有陶瓷制品、金属制品、硅胶等等。他关注人在社会中的欲望、权力和态度等，这使他从80年代就走向成熟的创作在今天有着更深的现实意义。

Installation
　　Gu Dexin is recognized as “one of the forerunners for conceptual art practice during the past two decades”. His artwork consciously negates the meaning of text in the explanation of an artwork. Gu utilizes various materials including junkie plastics, flowers, fruits, meats, as well as ceramics, metal, silica gel etc.. He questions our attitude towards the impulses of desire and power, which has far reaching meaning for today’s reality.
