多元世代  固执己见——北京新时代画廊开幕展

创始于1989年的台湾新时代画廊以经营当代油画家如旅居海外的华人艺术家赵无极，朱德群，魏乐堂，常玉等，以及中国第一代画家如林凤眠，徐悲鸿，刘海粟，李铁夫等。北京新时代画廊将于2007年4月开幕，着重于发现，发掘并推广当代艺术新秀。未来将陆续推出一系列年轻华人艺术家，开拓年轻艺术家的事业及推动中国当代艺术的发展。

《多元世代 固执己见》作为新时代在北京新画廊的开幕展体现了新时代画廊长期以来对中国青年艺术家的关注，积极拓展中国新生代的潜力新秀，为他们建立一个可以展示其具有创造性，未来性的专业平台。
参展的十位青年艺术家有管勇，胡华，贾刚，王颉，夏航，许向东，由金，张永正，曾庆国以及钟山。

Beijing New Age Gallery Opening Show

In 1984, New Age Art Gallery was founded in Taiwan. It had focused on promoting contemporary oil paintings of overseas Chinese artists such as Zao Wou-Ki, Chu Teh-Chun, Wei Changle, Chang Yu as well as the first Chinese oil painters including Lin Fengmian, Xu Beihong, Liu Haisu and Li Tiefu. The opening ceremony of Beijing New Age Gallery will be held on April 28th 2007. Beijing New Age Gallery is responsible for the discovery and the representation of young Chinese contemporary artists. In the near future, a series of young Chinese artists would be introduced to the world of Chinese contemporary art.

‘The Age of Pluralism, Being Persistent’ as the subject of opening ceremony is showing our commitment to promoting young Chinese contemporary artists and building a professional platform for their creativity.
The participated artists are Guan Yong, Hu Hua, Jia Gang, Wang Jie, Xia Hang, Xu Xiangdong, You Jin, Zhang Yongzheng, Zen Qingguo and Zhong Shan
